Since 1988, the Riverland Paddling Marathon (RPM) has brought paddlers from across Australia to the iconic Murray River for three unforgettable days of challenge, camaraderie, and cold-weather adventure. Held every June Long Weekend, RPM offers something for everyone — from first timers to endurance paddling legends.
Set in South Australia’s stunning Riverland region, RPM combines breathtaking scenery with true marathon spirit, creating one of the country’s most unique paddling events.

With six events across three days, you decide how far you want to push yourself:
🚣 The Murray 200
A legendary 208 km endurance challenge paddled continuously over three days from Berri to Morgan.
🔁 The 200 Relay
Tackle the same epic 208 km course as part of a relay team.
💯 The Murray 100
A demanding yet achievable 93 km paddle over three days, covering highlights of the Murray 200 route.
🎯 The Murray 50
A 49 km, three-day challenge — perfect for those stepping up to marathon paddling.
🌊 Single Day Paddle
A scenic 26 km Sunday paddle from Devlins Pound to Waikerie.
🌱 Mini-Marathon
New to paddling marathons? Paddle 11–12 km on one day — or multiple days — and experience RPM your way.
